Amitriptyline
Amitriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant (TCA) used to treat depression and several other medical conditions. Although originally developed as an antidepressant, it is now also widely prescribed in lower doses for chronic pain, migraine prevention, and certain nerve-related conditions.
It is available only by prescription in many countries.
